Together with our partners, we support charitable and non-profit projects, both locally and globally. Many of these projects we have developed ourselves and finance entirely or largely.
Our founders’ home towns and funding priorities

Freudental
The small, independent municipality of Freudental is the birthplace and hometown of the benefactor Hans-Peter Bruker. His life story began here just 15 years after the end of Nazi rule – in the immediate vicinity of the former Jewish ritual bath on Seestraße. Jewish history continues to shape the town to this day.

Bietigheim-Bissingen
The large district town of Bietigheim-Bissingen, north of Stuttgart, has been home to the Bruker family of benefactors since 1989. With its vibrant town center, diverse offerings, and high quality of life, it provides ideal conditions for family life. Despite its size, the town has retained its personal charm and special atmosphere.
Projects Close to Our Hearts
Some projects we support not only with money, but with time and heart. We know the people behind them personally and often stay by their side for many years – in Freudental and Bietigheim-Bissingen as well as in the Philippines and Peru.
Alternative school sports
Bietigheim-Bissingen · since 2007 · ongoing
Our first project: School classes use the sports facilities at Ballkult in Ellental, bringing more variety to school sports. Ballkult covers half the costs, the foundation the rest. In the first year alone, 8 out of 10 invited schools participated.
First Responders – First Aiders
Freudental · since 2014 · ongoing
Volunteer first responders from the German Red Cross (DRK) provide initial care in emergencies until the ambulance service arrives. With 18 volunteers, it is the largest first responder team in the Ludwigsburg district. The foundation helped finance their own emergency vehicle.

PPL – Educational-psychological learning therapy
Bietigheim-Bissingen · 2011–2024 · completed
Primary school children with learning difficulties received targeted learning therapy from Grit Klinsmann. The therapy was conducted in close cooperation with the schools and was fully funded by the foundation. Parents, teachers, and children gave consistently positive feedback.

LaLoLi feed Philippines
Philippines · ongoing
Together with local partners, we ensure that children and families in need receive a regular hot meal. A reliable meal provides strength for school and everyday life and offers a sense of security.
PHC – Nursing Home Clowns
Bietigheim-Bissingen and Freudental · since 2018 · ongoing
Clowns Sissi and Raggi bring laughter to the residents of the care home on the Metter River. The program is open to all care homes in Bietigheim-Bissingen and Freudental. Applications are welcome.
VVC Christuskirche Lima
Lima, Peru · ongoing
In the Comas district, the Evangelical Lutheran Christ Church in Lima is establishing an educational center for children. Here they will learn English, art, and music—subjects that are lacking in many schools. The BRUKER Foundation supports this initiative.
